In 1987 Jamie began his career making joinery for the construction industry.
Jamie then embarked on five years training at Buckinghamshire College, including a degree on the widely renowned BA Hons Furniture Design & Craftsmanship Course, where he gained a First Class Degree.
During this time at university, Jamie gained valuable experience, working for acclaimed designer/makers and corporate furniture manufacturers.
On completion of his degree, Jamie has worked with furniture makers and interior designers, architects and he has managed the furniture making courses at Warwickshire College. Whilst training the next generation of furniture makers, he has assisted City and Guilds with the writing of their furniture making qualifications.
In recent years, Jamie returned to making full time. In 2016, Jamie became a Liveryman of The Worshipful Company of Furniture Makers and Freeman of The City of London.
